ABOUT PROJECT AMERICAN HEROES --
This project is to build a brand new 50th Anniversary 1957 Chevy dedicated
to the families of members of the US Armed Forces who have been wounded
in the line of duty. The entire build will be covered in Super Chevy magazine.
The final look of the car was determined based on votes from members of the
US Armed Forces using this web site out of six unique options.
The Project American Heroes 1957 Chevy will be built using donated parts,
complete body, chassis, and labor from CARS Inc. and The Roadster Shop -
among others.
The final car will be taken to a number of shows across the USA where people
may see the car in person, and also give donations. Then, in January of 2008 the car will be auctioned off at Barret Jackson, where all of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Armed Forces Foundation.
The Armed Forces Foundation offers direct financial assistance and uplifting support to our men and women in uniform - during their time of greatest need. LEARN MORE >
